any measureable rain this month. That looks likely to

Only 1.1mm since 21st May here Norman, so quite a notable dry spell.

Only 4.9mm in the same period here, Graham. As you say, it's becoming a notable
dry spell but there have been much longer, drier spells. A quick scan through
my rolling 30-day totals shows that the lowest was 1.0mm in the 30 days ending
4th May 2011. By this time next week I think the dry spell will be merely a
distant memory.

It was the same situation here - until Tuesday late afternoon.
We've now had one rain day with 20 mm, followed by another with
14 mm. Looking at some of the cloud tops becoming visible to the
west and south, we may well see more today!
