The record global heat remains, despite a probable rapid transition to La Nina being underway.
http://data.giss.nasa.gov/gistemp/ta...LB.Ts+dSST.txt http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/sotc/global/201605 There will be a fall-off in these record temperatures, as the effects of ENSO neutral and very probably La Nina take hold, but this El Nino has re-written the global temperature record books and re-focussed world attention on a problem which is highly unlikely to go away for generations to come. |
