Penzance - bright AM, mainly sunny PM
A bright, dry though generally cloudy morning.
Long sunny periods developed this afternoon as the Sc sheet broke up. Max 18.6C, a big improvement on yesterday when the maximum was just 15.2C. This was the lowest max this month by 1.8C, combined with a fresh breeze & drizzly rain. Today wind generally NNW 2-3 but dropped virtually calm in Penzance 14:00-16:00 as the sea breeze effect virtually cancelled out the gradient wind. Graham Penzance |
