I was down in Hastings yesterday and on the trip down and back on the A21 I could see both remain and leave. The majority of people will have made their mind up in an unanimated way and keep their choice to themselves however all the SE coastal towns are the refuge for those Londoners who have had enough and voted with their boots by leaving London and to be fair if near retirement age cashed in on their London property prices. I would also suggest they are Brexit, white and what we use to call working class. There are exceptions to the rule and plenty of none-white families want the same thing and they too want out of London, a quieter environment and capitalise on their property price. Funnily enough my mate and his family were card toting CP members years ago living in Downham and then Catford all of the their lives until moving to Hastings several years ago. Being Guardian readers they are definetly Remain.

Overall though I would agree with Richard that the coastal population will vote Brexit and when you look at the towns where illegal immigrants accumulate on arrival like Deal and Dover then that is a big issue for those people and they are definetly 'Brexit'.

Of course the consequences of the sad death of Jo Cox really strengthened the 'Remain' argument as she was a predominant 'Stay' supporter.

Funny campaign and topic though as the left , the right, the middle, the greens even the anarchist still have different opinions on this matter of varying levels.

Well if you and many think this is bluster then god help us all. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ViPm0GUxw-M

Unlike all those that willingly took up their euro mp positions -like the Kinnocks are both inept and if anyone is the archetypal bluster or should I say Welsh windbag then Kinnock is your man . Both he and his wife have become multi millionaires on taking up their euro jobs and almost disappearing as they rake in our cash. All the euro mps get a damned good deal with their income due to rise by 40% just after the Brexit vote.

Farages popularity has been precisely because he doesn't bluster, doesn't duck, is prepared to lose his cushty Euro MP position and comes across despite emotions and propaganda maelstrom raised by daring to mention immigration levels as decent affable bloke.

Watching his recent interview with Andrew Neil on the politics show a net migration figure for 2015 was shown showing that in that year the amount of people coming into the country was almost 400 thousand.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EaSQT7QnbWI

I would ask you Col and other remainers that if this vote wasn't taking place would they think that a net migration to the UK and most England every years of nearly half a million is sutainable?

Where I disagree with Farage but its probably because he can't say this openly as the left would be right down his throat is much of industry and small business like the immigrant EU work force because after decades of miserable communism they love the UK and have a great work ethic without any chips on their shoulders whatsoever. As I was driving yesterday morning down to Hastings at about 8:15am on R4 a couple of people came on giving their views. The 'remain' chap said he wanted to stay precisely because he found the European workers had a far better attitude to work than their British counterpart. Now I have posted many times on a personal level about my white non -working class family and their many friends who basically prefer living on benefits as opposed to erasing a wage and a fundamental reason for this is Housing Benefit as if on JSA HB will pay any mortgage interest or any rent within the local housing allowance limits.

This is why there is no clear cut leave or stay amongst the private businesses in the UK some need and thrive on a willing labour force who are needed to replace our lazy sods who to be fair are better of getting their rent or mortgage interest paid than working .

All these things a major issues However although many of the immigrant work force may be more willing they still bring families with exceedingly high demands on state expenditure like education which I believe is 6000 quid a year just to put a kid in school, the there is health where I would love to know how much a basic ultra sound or cat scan cost alone. My sadly now gone sister had kidney disease for over ten years with constant dialysis and finally a transplant. Just imagine how much that all cost, even giving birth to her four kids in hospital with midwives follow up, medication costs and so on . Yet she never ever paid one penny in NI contributions. In fact her whole family doesn't work and pay NI. Dozens of their friends that I know do the same. Its because of this the business's want to 'remain'. Truth is that we need to get these people of their arses and get them to lose their entitlement atitudes and realise that we all have to chip in. I'm wandering off now. But where you get so -called deprived areas its all because generally no one wants to work and yet for all that time sitting on their arses doing nothing the places are ****e holes and no one can be bothered lifting a finger to clear up the mess they've made with vandalism , fly tipping, dog fouling and so on. No they although they pay no council tax expect the council to clear up their mess. So those that do pay council tax have to foot this bill. Yet woe betide if you are late in paying as you will get very threatening computer generated letters. There is a whole benefits , mental illness caused by drugs unfit parents whose kids then are put into care, court cases . CPS , social services legal aid and so on . All these things cost millions per case and its all because of this strata in our society that we bring in migrants economically to cover for.

Post WWII the whole economy has got itself into one almighty economically catastrophic position. If we add on all the EU regulations and H&SE and so on LA business rates, paternity days and so the costs to running a business economically have escalated beyond compare. The truth is none of this is sustainable world debt in unpayable . Thye bulk of problems go well beyond Brexit. But if we are going to go down I'd rather do it without a massive parasitic carbunckle called the EU clinging on to me

I'm passionately a #Remain

I have heard nothing from Brexit that rings true or stacks up with me
and firmly beleive it will cause nothing but misery in this Country for
many years ahead and it worries very much.

Given their demographics, that's hardly surprising...

There's a great lack of posters of either sort, around here.

Good lad. Off to France with you.
And don't you come back here telling us what we can't do anymore!

Is that where they had the bridge or is that in Germany?
