I looked at the radar earlier and assumed a steady eastward march of the
rain. So after making it to East London I was somewhat surprised when it had not reached here an hour later and even more surprised to see that it is dry at the Oval having retreated westwards. I suspect it will arrive soon although perhaps lighter than originally forecast? Still bloody miserable for late June though. |

We had an hour or so of light rain here, then dry but now a leaden uniform grey sky and light drizzle. Tudor Hughes, Warlingham, NE Surrey, 557 ft, 169 m. |
