Yes indeed it is not pleasant. 18 to 20C dewpoints, high night minima and a
lot of sweat ahead.

RMK: Drizzle ceased soon after 0900z. It then remained
cloudy till early afternoon. During the latter part of the
afternoon the cloud has broken and there's been some
intervals of sunshine. It's a really nasty hot and sticky
afternoon, more reminiscent of Singapore than the Peak
District. The only good thing about this heat wave is that
it'll be pretty short. Max temp 26.4 so far.
