Swanston, Edinburgh August and Summer 2016
August
Mean max 18.3C (high max a mere 22.9C), mean min 11.5. Month mean 14.9C Rain 39.7mm, wettest day 15.9mm (10th) Sun 164.01 hours, most sun 14.00 hrs (16th) Westerlies dominated again although easterlies 15th to 17th brought some warm and sunny weather. Another dry month with mean temperature and sunshine close to normal. Summer 2016 Mean max 17.7C, mean min 10.8C, Season mean 14.2C. Total rain 178.1mm, total sun 468.9 hrs. Mean temperature and and sunshine total close to normal. On the dry side however.
