Just checked will it rain and there was a thunderstorm over the M25 junction with the M26 heading NW but it seems to have fizzled out now, however I check UKMO for London/greater London/ Bromley and it says this
http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/w...ime=1473897600 Regional forecast for London & South East England Heavy thundery showers this evening. Rain later tonight. This Evening and Tonight: Some early evening sunshine, but with isolated thundery showers, these locally very heavy. Showers will merge into a more general area of rain in western counties, with the east drier, but cloudy and misty. Light variable winds. Minimum Temperature 17 °C. yet on the forecast for Bromley today which is just above the Regional forecast for London & South East England which says Heavy thundery showers this evening. Rain later tonight. There is no rain at all. I'll screen shoot if for posterity but really UKMO you can't warn of rain for a specific area and then show no rain for the same are and to add insult to injury put them on the same page!!!!! It really is unbelievable. So anyone looking there for a forecast for greater London and the SE would get very confused |

I don't see any contradiction: 1) It's not evening yet. 2) The nature of showers is that some places get them and some miss them. -- John Hall "Banking was conceived in iniquity and born in sin" attributed to Sir Josiah Stamp, a former director of the Bank of England |
