Default [WR] S.Essex - still warm and dry

..... and looks like continuing that way. With Autumn now starting and
yesterday forecast to be average temps I was surprised to see I got
23.4C confirmed by 23.6C at Gravesend. The summer that just goes on here
since the end of June.

Don't know how you do it Dave
Another deluge last evening 10.6mm, most of that fell in a hour from around
17.30!
Only bloody rained on 6 days this month and we've already had 66mm (94%)
Looks like another month with above average rainfall that would make it 11
months on the trot. quite amazing!
We had managed 2.3 sun hours in 3 days until today. Much better today with
7.7 hours
I reckon this part of the world is due some very dry months, probably
starting in December

It's been rather cloudy here too Graham, though nowhere near as wet.

The monthly sunshine total passed 100 hours today but still puts this
month's efforts into the 'dull' category and this September could end up
the cloudiest I've recorded since before 2007. And to think that last
year's September recorded a total of 225 hours of sunshine.

1st - 22nd September:
Mean maximum = 21.2°C
Mean minimum = 12.7°C
Mean = 17.0°C
Rain = 31.5 mm
Sunshine = 110 hours.
