Who would christmas eve it: 1 October 2016. https://earth.nullschool.net/#curren...-72.236,13.019 It looks just as blocked as Karl but since then Karl has gained a follower. In fact it is difficult to believe how long that storm has lasted. Whilst Mathew fits the eye of Karl the eye of Karl is the size of Iceland. Larger that Greenland it looks like it would fill the basin north of the Gakkel Ridge. Food for thought for Dawlish, if only the "silly sod" could think, if wet sheep like fish food: http://www.noaanews.noaa.gov/stories/s1081.htm Hmmmm.. come to think of it... he does seem to spend a lot of time worrying about the Arctic. Maybe he's a basking sheep? Physical evidence came when fresh sulfide chimneys, which are created from the chemicals spewed into the water, and hydrothermally altered rocks were acquired during dredging operations. After photographs from a camera tow showed shimmering water and “abundant” biological activity in the area, the scientists named the area “Aurora.” The unusual marine life found in Atlantic Ocean vent sites are “markedly different” from those found in the Pacific Ocean vent sites. Baker and his colleagues suggest that since the Gakkel Ridge is not connected to other parts of the mid-ocean ridge system south of Iceland, it is likely that newly extinct species of vent marine life await discovery. “We are eager to return and see what is still left alive down there,” Baker said. That team is from the same school of thought that found a scroll in the Tower of Babel shortly after they destroyed it. Was that the one that was moved east of Dawlish to make room for the third class carriages on the Oriental Milk Gluglug? (It was going to be an express but it fell in the water too.) |
