You're a tough lot Up Country Norman. Shirt sleeves at 15.5C.... brrrr!
Methinks a fleece would have been handy.

A much more 'shirt sleeves-friendly' 19.0C here and unbroken sunshine
all afternoon. Mind you, that breeze felt a little cool at times later
in the day despite the strong(ish) sun.

In the strong sunshine with almost no breeze it felt decidedly warm despite the
unspectacular temperature. The thermometer doesn't tell the whole story :-)

Indeed. If the day is still and cloudless then I find shirt sleeves are fine for sitting in the sun down to mid single figures. Not that we get that very often in winter. But when we do ...

In calm (F1), sunny conditions I have sat out in a tee-shirt in 2C. Lovely!

Just to add that we get at least one day like that in every winter due to
inversion conditions. -3C and cloudy low down but sunny and warm at 0 to 3C
up here. I recall one morning I took the dog for a walk and had to take my
coat off (should never have worn it of course). By midday the wind had got
up and it felt chillier despite being even warmer.
