W Cornwall - Prolonged Gale / near Gale & very wet.
The 1st prolonged period of gales / near gales on the cliff tops this winter. http://www.landsendweather.info/met/mainframe.htm
Also wet. Not just yesterdays rain, but frequent heavy / rain & hail showers that followed. 22.2mm to 09:00 this morning. Temperature now rising slowly, 6.1C @ 09:00. As is typical with a NNW blast, wind strengths stronger here than forecast. Graham Penzance |
