The silly question is that the majority of meteorologists in uk.sci.weather apparently support a bag of **** that is denied by chief climatologists, thus:

A following video described his experience with the US government. Instead of supporting the findings they sent a team of axe murderers to check on him. Oxfam and the Volunteer oversea Service people spend hundreds of pounds in Africa every year (virtually everything that is left after expenses and high official salaries are credited.)

A friend of mine a retired Civil Engineer was working in Rwanda where the whole village got one stand pipe.
Let me repeat that: The entire village got one standpipe from all the money these charities sent!

Do you suppose the chief engineer was there to make sure that it was installed expertly?
If you do, why do you suppose that?
What is it about British Charities that lets you believe anything of the sort?

We would like to invite you to submit a contribution to our session “Wet volcanoes: aquifers and lakes and their related hazards� for the next IAVCEI this summer. We are looking forward to receiving your contributions and meeting you in Portland!!

Wet volcanoes: aquifers and lakes and their related hazards

Volcanoes store large amounts of water in their porous layers, cracks, and cavities, whereas crater lakes can be subaerial exposures of underlying hydrothermal systems or direct receptacles of volcanic gases.

“Wet volcanoes� can have phreatic and magmatic eruptions, and variations in composition and temperature of the aqueous fluids, and the level of seismicity can be used to monitor such activities. Unrest at wet volcanoes often culminates into phreatic eruptions, which are generally hard to predict.

The “hydrocells� themselves also pose dangers, be it limnic eruptions or rupturing of the system with toxic floods.

Similarly, ground water can play a major role during collapse by changing the volcano’s rheology. Modelling the hydrogeological system of volcanic aquifers is difficult since the environment is constantly changing and geophysical data and boreholes are limited.

We invite contributions that involve studies on wet volcanoes and active crater lake systems, using water and gas chemistry or geophysical surveys, hydrogeology with focus on water storage, migration, drainage, evolution with time, and contributions on the influence of water before and during landslides.

In addition, work on numerical, conceptual and analogue modeling of fluid flow as well as eruption mechanisms of these volcanoes are welcome.

I don't have much interest in submitting "papers" even if I knew how but the idea that experts are working on the obvious before I finalise what research needs doing, does interest me.

There is hardly much doubt that I will beat them to it, trounce them so to speak. On the other hand in the unlikely event that one of them has the hand of god, it may turn out that Jehovah will accept his sacrifice and ignore mine.

That would be a downer but hardly an underserved one. I shall have to endeavour to endeavour. Hey ho! where did I put those thorns I was working in?
