Overcast start with intermittent light snow from before dawn until mid-morning. Complete thin snow cover on all surfaces through the morning, but it thawed slowly in the afternoon.

Dry from mid-morning onwards but mostly cloudy with just a few fleeting bright intervals. Cold and raw with little variation in temperature over 24 hours. Very light SW to W wind backed ESE during the evening.
