Default Penzance - All peace and quiet

Not that it was that stormy here yesterday, just a cliff top gale.

Although the sea was rough, not much of a real swell, and if anything yet more sand brought in by it. Next Monday/Tuesday look set for some rather more destructive (beach wise) & impressive sea conditions though.

Very little rain here, 0.5mm in the 24 hours to 09:00.

A beach stroll beckons - looking very nice. http://www.sloop-inn.co.uk/live-surf...-welcome-page/

Currently just 10C.

Nor here yesterday. Highest gust was 30 mph and on the whole it was a
pleasant, if breezy day with over 5 hours of sunshine and a maximum of
11.8C. Though that wind did start to feel a bit chilly later in the day
as the DPs dropped.

A stunning day today with practically unbroken sunshine from dawn 'til
dusk and a maximum of 12.7C.

Everything has dried up nicely though I suspect that is about to change.
Only 0.8 mm of rain since the 15th.

February is now warmer than average after the recent mild spell.

1st - 24th Feb 2017:
Mean minimum = 4.4C
Mean maximum = 10.7C
Mean = 7.6C
Rain = 37.2 mm
Sunshine = 71.4 hours.
