Hi, All,
Another good call from MetO, promised us 10cm+ and we got 14cm Current Copley 08:50Z:- E 8KT(Bft 3), 300 metres, sky obscured, fog, rain&snow 2C/2C, 1007mb rising, snow 14cm, fresh 14cm.(yesterday's 1cm soon melted) Past 24 hours:- Max 5.6C min -1.2C grass -5.8C (under snow) rain 13.2mm (snow converted) sun 21st 9.3hr (C/S and electronic both the same) 14cm is the greatest depth of the winter beating the 13cm of 9th November, not a lot in between, in fact there have been just 13 days with more than 50% cover, fresh falls 49cm and 43 days falling. That is quite low for this part of the world. Looks like a foggy, wet, thawy, yukky day to come. Daffs set back again! Ken Copley Teesdale |
