Yesterday morning's cloud broke up around 1230z to leave a fine and sunny afternoon and early evening. The cloud came back mid evening and persisted through most of the night, breaking not long before sunrise to allow a short-lived ground frost to form. The cloud stayed broken until not long after 0800z, giving some lovely morning sunshine. The cloud appeared to develop in situ, and there seems to be very little movement - just a slow southward drift.
