Cloudy start with a fairly heavy shower just before 09.00 local time. Brighter from mid-morning, with sunny intervals, but mostly cloudy again after midday, with only brief glimpses of weak sunshine in the afternoon.

Very dark and threatening sky after 17.30, with heavy rain and constant rumbling thunder from 17.55, but only a single feeble flash of lightning. Rain became lighter after 18.15, and petered out by 18.30. Damp and drizzly later in the evening.

Rainfall seems to have been heavier at both Uccle and the Airport than where I live (between the two): 17 mm in the hour ending 19.00 local time at Uccle, and 16 mm at the Airport.

Quite warm and humid with a light WSW wind during the afternoon, but cooler with a moderate NW wind after the evening storm.
