Hi,
Looking at how I remember winters, with snow measured in ft rather than inches, this lack of rain at this time of year is starting to get worrying! Is it a sign that much like the snow we used to get, that decent downpours of rain are going to become a thin of the past, and that the UK will have the dullest weather in the entire world? I'm only being half serious BTW. Simon |

I'm only being half serious BTW. It's certainly rather boring, bland and pleasant this year and may well be for another year or two. Then it'll be wet and stormy for, say, three years. Remember 2000-01? Every front produced a downpour, and some deluges didn't even need fronts. It wasn't fair! Anyway, what goes round comes round. ;-) Tudor Hughes, Warlingham, Surrey. |
