Lots of showers, mostly primarily of hail, coming in off the warm sea. 7.9mm in the 24 hours to 09:00. Yesterdays max 10.0C, minimum 4.6C (almost certainly in one of the showers yesterday evening when snow was reported up at Culdrose).
Before anyone says it's never cold in Penzance, it can be. The equivalent figures for November 2010 we- 27th Max 4.2C , 5.8C colder than yesterday & with a snow cover @ 09:00. 28th Min -4.3C , 8.9C lower than this year and the lowest November max by a huge margin, the 9th lowest minimum recorded in any month the last 27 years. Quite a well defined dangler now, just clipping west Cornwall, may stick around for a while, steadily building the rainfall totals. Little real swell. https://magicseaweed.com/Sennen-Surf-Report/4/ Graham Penzance |
