Default Giant contrail

Does anyone have any sensible answers to the so-called 13,000 mile contrail reported (amongst other places) in some tabloids on 25 Feb 2018 as seen on Google Earth?

Processing glitch, hoax by Google staff or a real 'something'?

I did a group search but didn't find it. Typical article link he http://metro.co.uk/2018/02/26/alien-...globe-7342392/

Thanks.

If it is real then my guess would be the final decay stages of a polar
orbiting satellite re-entering the Earth's atmosphere. There are several
networks of them but nothing predicted or seen for 25th Feb.

Polar orbiters don't go over the poles so, unless one went off track, it
seems an unlikely prospect.

These global images are probably stitched together from several contiguous
swaths from one or more polar orbiting satellite imagers. Most likely this is
just a failure of the stitching which as left a small gap between swaths when
the mapping to the global view. Or it's an alien landing fleet. Take your pick
recalling Occam's Razor.

Have you got a time lapse for it. The reporter has not been obliging.

One would have thought something would have been mentioned about this Coriolis defying phenomena.
If you have been following Qanon posts you will have heard mention of BOOMs

I think you had better head there rather than waste time in this paddling pool for losers.

Default Giant contrail

It's not a contrail, it's just a stitching artefact between successive swaths of the cloud cover layer. Evidence for this is that it exactly follows a meridian, the clouds on either side don't match, and it didn't show up on any other satellite imagery.

It was also spread by the "Secureteam10" YouTube account which has form for fake and misrepresented "UFO" videos etc.

Well done both but the site is not evil, quite the reverse it is an open discussion group like this one used to be before the CIA's wheels came off the wagons now below the cliffs.

The problem is not with freedom of speech but the forbidding of the freedom of thought (a utility that commends itself to wisdom but is the toy of trolls and secreaturers everywhere -not excluding here for the case in point.)

Why would you bother guessing if yur friends can just tell you?

Anyway guess when the decided to move this thing:

OK, you got me, you didn't need to ask your friends:
