Mean max 5.4, mean min 0.6, overall mean 3.0 Grass min -6.5. 9 air frosts, 23 ground frosts, 82.4 hrs frost, 1 ice day Snow fell on 14 days. Snow cover @ 0900 6 days, max depth 5.0 cm on 6th A cold rather dry and sunny month. At the very end of the month easterly winds marked the start of a notable wintry spell with much snow and disruption. Winter 2017/2018 Mean max 5.9, mean min 1.6, season mean 3.7 Sun 237.69 hrs, rain 227.2 mm Cold and sunny but with rainfall above normal.
