Brussels on Good Friday 30th March 2018

Bright morning with sunny intervals despite large amounts of high and medium-level cloud. Cloud cleared extensively towards and over midday and was it mostly sunny for a time.

Cloud moved over from the SW again in the early afternoon, and it was then mostly cloudy with just brief bright intervals. Slight rain now and again after 17.45 local time, and a brief period of moderate to heavy rain from 19.15. Dry after 20.00, and broken cloud now.

Quite mild by mid-afternoon, but the temperature fell sharply during and after the evening rain: 13.4°C at Uccle at 17.00 local time, but only 6.5°C at 20.00. Light to moderate ESE to SE wind freshened noticeably as the rain approached.
