Thursday's convective cloud dispersed quickly during the evening, and the layer clouds above thinned and broke around the same time. Variable amounts of stratocumulus overnight, mainly small amounts after 0300z. Clear skies at first after dawn, and rather misty. Convection has started in the past hour and a half, and the visibility has improved. Some fairly tall-looking cumulus but probably only cu med at worst due to the effect of the low base. Light or calm winds overnight, a light southwesterly breeze has started in the past couple of hours.
