Default Unusual cloud - investigation, 19Oct18

For anyone interested, I have undertaken an investigation into a cloud that
appeared to be much lower than it in fact was. Coincident with this, a field
of cirrus castellanus was observed, photographed and measured. Lidar data
from Reading University and Chilbolton Observatory is presented, together
with data from a radiosonde ascent from Larkhill made through the convective
cirrus.

An excellent study Bernard. Worthy of a wider audience.
How about the Weather magazine?

I'll second that suggestion, Len. Good work, Bernard.
