Cloudy with frequent and occasionally heavy showers of rain and small hail throughout the daylight hours of Wednesday and the first half of Wednesday night. Showers became light and less frequent and exclusively of rain after 0100z, although there was a moderate one just after 0800z. Parlty cloudy at times after 0100z. Visibility good outside of precipitation (and very good since the showers became lighter) but moderate or occasionally poor in the showers. Surface winds generally southwesterly F3 or less, but blustery at times during the evening showers. A wet week so far, with the monthly rainfall total currently standing at 274.4 mm (110% of the whole month average), so it looks as if this month will top 300 mm.
