Default [OBS] Ystrad, Rhondda - Tue 29 Jan 2019

1500z: 32007KT 7km Moderate rain and snow 2ST010 7SC025 8AS080 1.9/0.9 QFF 995.2 steady.
SYNOP: 41457 83207 10019 20009 49952 56016 76976 8752/ 333 82710 87625 88458=
Moderate rain became moderate rain and snow after 1300z - albeit only 30% snow at very worst - and is currently just about moderate in intensity. Snow can be seen lying down to 300 metres. Low stratus has become more patchy, with a layer of stratocumulus above, and thick medium cloud layers above that. Moderate visibility. Surface wind backed (it was northeasterly for a time) around to northwesterly between 1330z and 1430z, and is currently the bottom end of F3. Maximum temperature so far today is 3.5 (1146z).
