0700z: 04015KT 15km 4SC020 7AC100 (/CI250) 0.1/-2.1 QFF 988.0 rising.
SYNOP: 42565 70415 10001 21021 49880 53015 84572 333 84620 87360= Slight snow started at 1540z on Thursday, intermittent at first, then continuous from around 2000z until midnight, then becoming intermittent until dying out before 0200z. There was the odd moderate burst, but was generally slight. There is currently 3 cm of lying snow. Cloudy throughout. Visibility good, but deteriorated to poor during the snow. Surface wind has been backing and strengthening overnight, and is currently NE'ly F4-5. It feels much colder at zero this morning than it did at minus five yesterday morning. Snow cover is almost but not quite complete, and a depth of 2 cm.
