0900z: 27001KT 2500m Slight drizzle 8ST005 2.6/1.8 QFF 1022.6 rising.
SYNOP: 41225 82701 10026 20018 40226 52003 75152 886// 333 88705= Monday's moderate rain and drizzle eased off to slight not long after 0700z, and continued - intermittently at times - to late morning. Cloud started to break just before 1200z, and a fine and sunny afternoon followed. The evening and first part of the night was clear and frosty. Cloud increased after 0200z in the form of low stratus, and the frost melted. The stratus has continued to lower and thicken, and has been producing drizzle for a couple of hours now. Poor visibility at first on Monday morning, improving to moderate during the morning, and very good during the afternoon. Visibility reduced to moderate or poor as the stratus rolled in. Winds have been generally light, F2 or less - southerly veering westerly Monday morning, then calm or light and variable from late afternoon. 04/0900z to 05/0900z: Max: 10.8 (1451z) Min: -1.1 (0219z) Rain: 0.2 mm (largely dew or frost melt) -- Freddie Ystrad Rhondda 148m AMSL http://www.hosiene.co.uk/weather/ https://twitter.com/YstradRhonddaWx for hourly reports (very few tweets getting through currently) Stats for the month so far: https://www.hosiene.co.uk/weather/st...201902FEB.xlsx |
