Tuesday afternoon's slight rain and drizzle persisted into the evening, petering out towards midnight. Extensive low cloud late Tuesday afternoon, evening and first half of the night gradually lifted off the hills in the small hours, and broke not long after 0600z, leaving just a smidge of turbulent stratus to the southwest, and revealing extensive cirrus above. Poor visibility until late evening, improving quite quickly to good. SSW'ly surface wind backed SE'ly during the evening - F3 at first, falling to F1-2. Minimum temperature overnight so far is 5.3 (0730z).
