Default Penzance - Windy, but not really stormy.

The strongest winds missed Cornwall. The wind just struggled to reach 50 mph at the most exposed spots, like Lands End & Scilly, and rainfall amounts were generally small - 3.2mm in Penzance.

The weather was certainly worse during the prolonged windy / wet / cold period of 14th / 15th April, when there were cliff top gusts 60mph, 60mm of rain fell on Scilly and the temperature was around 8C a lot of the time.

Sea is quite spectacular, very rough and dangerous on the north coast beaches in particular. https://www.atlanticcottageholidays....m-sennen-cove/ Observable wave setup surges.

Significant wave height peaked around 23' at Sevenstones, but the period is short, it's extremely messy, and not that powerful. Hardly any impact on the sand level, just moved it around a bit.

Not much beach showing at the moment, considering it is half tide. Not sure that will make a difference on a day like today!
