Default Penzance - Grim!

Well it's a long time since the weather's been this bad. I suppose we have to pay for getting 600 hours of sunshine in Spring.

Currently (11:30) It's 11.5C, a F6 northerly & heavy rain. It's also the 2nd day of the Royal Cornwall Show, such a shame for all involved.

I've only ever recorded 6 June days with a maximum 14C. If Penzance remains stuck under the 'wrap around' front in the N-NW it could well be the 7th.

Aye, grim says it all, or should I say, said it all.

Rain moved north and now we're in a clearance and the sun has come out.
Mind you, no real warmth with the temperature between 17C & 18C and
breezy from the ESE.

11.6 mm or rain in total but there maybe a few showers on their way for
later. Still, needed the rain.

Consider yourself lucky!

Consider yourself lucky!

Here, under the wrap around front, now 25mm, strong N wind, temperature 11-12C. Considering my record low June max is 13.0C, this is seriously bad. In fact when I recently checked XCWeather, youd be hard pushed to find anywhere in the UK either colder or wetter.

The 600 hours of Spring sunshine seems a distant memory.

On top of all that, I had to go out & got soaked!
