Bright at first, but overcast with medium-level cloud by mid-morning. Cloud cleared again soon after midday, and it was mostly sunny for a time.

Increasingly cloudy and threatening sky towards 15.30 local time, with a gusty wind, several rumbles of thunder and a moderate shower. Focus of this storm seems to have been west and south of he 11 mm rain at Uccle in the hour ending 17.00, and some road tunnels closed temporarily in the centre of Brussels because of minor flooding.

Brighter again after 16.30, but a further shower with a rumble of thunder around 18.00.

After some evening sunshine, darkening sky once more towards 20.30, with a rumble of thunder and light rain.

Warm in the sunshine, but cooler in the evening. Light and variable wind in the morning; light to moderate wind, between SSE and SW, in the afternoon and evening.
