There's some cloud around, but as the satellite imagery shows, thin & patchy. Surely it wouldn't be to difficult to make the forecast for the current time similar to what it is. THe odd white cloud would be fine.

Ir's a lovely morning as far as I can see, with little wind, temperature already up to yesterday's maximum at Lands End & 3C above the forecast temp in Penzance (17C for the current time). It's near 19-20C at the hilltop airport on Scilly, so no deterioration any time soon.

Plenty of cloud inland - which seems to have been even more the norm than normal this year. Typical Summer fair weather scenario of mainly SC melting offshore, blue on the beaches Cu & Sc inland.
