The wind is freshening. 0900z 16010g24kt 20km 3St005 7Ci250 03.6/02.9 1007 RMK: Very variable amounts of fast-moving stratus. Occasional slight rain from late morning. Became continuous in early afternoon and gradually intensified to moderate to heavy by dusk. A windy day but, so far, not exceptionally so for January. It has reached Force 7 for short periods in the second half of the afternoon with a couple of gusts to 44 knots.
