There 5cm of lying snow. 3cm of it is fresh snow lying on top of 2cm of hard, frozen snow left from the fall on Tue night into Wed morning. 0900z 31003kt 8000 -SHSN 4Cu005 7Sc020 +00.8/+00.1 998 RMK: Continuous snow ceased around 0700z. Fairly frequent slight snow showers since then. 5cm lying snow with a slow thaw setting in.
