Overcast all day. Light rain through the morning, becoming moderate towards midday.

Rain changed to sleet around 13.00 local time, and then to snow around 14.00. Moderate snow until about 15.30, but the snow became light and turned back to rain after 16.30. Slight rain through the early evening, but dry by 20.00.

General covering of wet snow on roofs and in the garden by mid-afternoon, but not deep enough to measure, and it had thawed again by early evening.

Cold and raw: only 0.6°C at 15.00. Light to moderate wind backed steadily from SSE in the early morning to E around midday, NW during the afternoon, and W in the evening.
