1013.4 rising slowly SYNOP 41665 70615 10088 20069 40134 52005 71322 81982 333 81940 86360 87070= Beaufort letters (2000-2100Z)... cl For the second evening running, lightning is visible over the English Channel, only this time more than just the single discharge. An hour ago, there were frequent distant flashes to the SE but now there are occasional, brighter flashes to the SSW. No thunder at time of ob although there is a keen wind from the NE that could be preventing any rumbles at not such a great distance to be heard (deep boom of thunder audible at 2110Z). RH 88%. Rainfall since 0900Z: 6.3mm. Max temp today 12.1 Nigel (Niton, Isle of Wight) 101m amsl |
