SYNOP: 41365 82310 10101 20101 49987 55009 76062 885// 333 86707 88620= Warm front went through between 0430z and 0600z. Slight rain from 1700z Wednesday became mostly moderate after 1830z, and heavy 2300z to 0015z (max rate 8 mm/hr at 2350z), then easing to slight occasionally moderate for the rest of the night, and intermittent after 0430z. Cloudy or overcast, with extensive low cloud. Visibility moderate or good, but with long poor spells during the first part of the night. Surface wind SE-S F1-2 increasing F3-4 0130z-0300z, veering SW F3-4 after 0430z. Periods of variable direction overnight owing to stability of the air and the proximity of Wenlock Edge. Very good visibility, dropping rapidly to poor during precipitation, now improving again. Surface wind SW F4 becoming S F2-3.
