After light rain on and off last night (perhaps 2mm in all) there's
been continous moderate rain now for nearly 3 hours, with more to come by the look of it. A quick glance into the rainguage indicates at least 8 mm now, and we *could* exceed 12mm (half an inch) by 6pm. Now *that's* substantial. Well done yesterday's forecasters (who I didn't believe!). Bang goes my gardening, that'll teach me to ignore all forecasts of rain for over a month! -- Dave Fareham. |
