Referring to Monday night :

-3.8C (coldest Oct night for 10 years), and -6.7C on the ground.

Alas, Colin Youngs seems to have gone AWOL again, so I have no easy
means of comparison.

Lowest air min. temps in 06.00 UTC synops on Tuesday morning: Boscombe
Down -1.8°C, Eskdalemuir -2.9°C, Shawbury and Yeovilton -4.1°C.

Lowest ground min. temps: Brize Norton and Belfast Aldergrove -7°C,
Coleshill and Lyneham -8°C, Yeovilton -9°C, Shawbury and Boscombe
Down -11°C.
