A deep low pressure (965mb) lies to the west/northwest of Scotland.
High pressure (1020mb) lies over Southern Spain and Portugal. Winds
across the UK are mostly strong southwesterlies, with gales possible.
Most parts will be unsettled with rain crossing the country followed
by blustery showers. Temperatures will be close to normal in many
parts. Beyond this conditions stay unsettled with strong winds and
rain or showers and as the winds come from further to the southwest,
it turns milder.

High pressure (1020mb) lies over Southern Spain and into Northern
Africa. Winds across the UK are fresh southwesterlies, strong to gale
in the English Channel. A band of rain will cross the country,
followed by showers. 850hPa temperatures range from 0C over Northern
Scotland to +5C in the southeast. Forecast 2m temperatures range from
+9C in the north to +13C in the south. Beyond this conditions remain
rather unsettled towards the northwest, but look set to turn much
milder and drier to the southeast as High pressure builds over Europe.

to strong west/southwesterlies with local gales. Most parts will see
rain followed by blustery showers. Temperatures will be close to
normal in many parts. Beyond this most places continue unsettled and
windy with rain and showers, before the southeast turns drier and
warmer as pressure builds over Europe, drawing in warm
south/southwesterly winds.

be unsettled with rain moving in from the west followed by showers.
850hPa temperatures range from -1C in the northeast to +7C in the
south. Temperatures will be close to normal in many parts. Beyond this
the UK can expect further unsettled and windy weather with gales
possible for a time before pressure builds over Europe, turning the
southeast warmer and drier.

Low pressure (969mb) lies to the west of Scotland in the Atlantic.
High pressure (1023mb) lies over the Azores. The UK lies under light
to moderate northwesterly winds, backing southwesterl later. Most
areas will see showers at first and becoming dry later under a ridge
of high pressure. Daytime temperatures will be close to normal in most
areas.

Summary:
A wet and windy Sunday seems likely for many areas with local gales
possible. As we go into next week pressure looks set to rise over
Europe, bringing in much warmer southwesterly winds and the southeast
turning drier and more settled again.
