Default "Suckers Gap"

Did you see the BBC forecast yesterday where the forecaster said:" This
is known as "Suckers Gap" in the trade". That's where you have one front
immediately on the heels of another with a clear spell in the middle.
You think the rain is over, because of the clearance, then you (poor
sucker) get caught out by the second front.
