Large area of frontal cloud covers most of England and Wales except the far
north. Brighter with orographic wave cloud over Scotland. Mass of cloud
over England and France extends across most of Belgium but the Netherlands
is clear except for the SW.

Narrow band of rain across northern Scotland early on Saturday night dies
out but further rain moves into Scotland from the east later in the night.
Outbreaks of rain in southern Ireland and extreme SW England and west Wales
move slowly north. An a of rain moves into southern England from the
Channel on Sunday morning and reaches the Midlands by early afternoon.
Outbreaks of rain develop in SW England and Wales during the afternoon and
move north.
