Low pressure (two centres of 990mb) lies close to Iceland. High
pressure (1025mb) lies over central and southern Europe, with another
high (1030mb) lying in the western Atlantic. Winds across the country
are mostly moderate to fresh west/southwesterlies. Some rain may move
across the country at times, with the brightest weather in the south
and east. Temperatures will be above normal. Beyond this conditions
remain mostly unsettled over the UK, but high pressure builds in the
mid-Atlantic.

close to Iceland. High pressure (1025mb) lies over central and
southern Europe, with another high (1030mb) in the western Atlantic.
Winds across the country are mostly moderate to fresh
west/southwesterlies. Some rain may move across the country, but the
south will be mostly dry. 850hPa temperatures range from -1C in the
northwest to +7C in the south. Forecast 2m temperatures are close to
9C in the north to 15C in the south. Beyond this conditions remain
rather unsettled at times, and gradually turn cooler from the
northwest.

lies in the Bay of Biscay. The UK lies under fresh to strong
west/southwesterly winds. Most parts will be mainly cloudy with some
rain in the north and west. Daytime temperatures will be above normal
in most areas.

Summary:
A mostly unsettled week is likely, and after a very mild start, it
looks set to gradually turn cooler by the end of the week from the
northwest.
