Copley screen min 18Z - 09Z was 9.1C (at 18Z) with most of the night around your values of 11C to 12C. "Official climat. station" min (09Z - 09Z) 8.6C, though, from yesterday morning. Another mild night not in the records. Mean screen anomaly +2.3C here, so it's back to warming after the pleasant October interlude. Where's Colin gone, btw? I'm a bit lost without his daily summaries. And also around 2.0°C higher than last months mean! The temperature hasn't been below 11°C since 5pm yesterday - the second such remarkably warm night here this month. Strong breezes today making it feel cooler though. Alex Near Motherwell, central lowlands. |
