By the way - it has just stopped raining here in S Cambs and it is 4.47 pm.
I don't know what we got but at a good guess I would say about 40mm perhaps
a bit more. It was one heck of a lot anyway. As it is still November that
has knocked a dry autumn well and truly on the head.
