Band of frontal cloud over eastern and southern England. Low Countries
also cloudy with thicker cloud in the east.

Outbreaks of rain in Scotland on Monday night in two distinct bands. Some
rain also in NW England and Wales later in the night but it largely dies out
early on Tuesday morning. Widespread showers in north and west Scotland in
the morning with scattered outbreaks of rain in SW and central southern
England. Rain band becomes more active from central southern England to
the Wash by mid-afternoon and moves slowly east. Further rain develops
over NW England and Wales and later SW England and an extensive rain area
covers central Ireland, the Irish Sea, SW Scotland, NW England, Wales and SW
England in the evening.
