Cold front stretches down the North Sea. Bright over England and Wales but
heavy showers developing in the west. Rather cloudy over Scotland with a
trough and showers to the west. Cold front cloud already covers Belgium
and is advancing over the Netherlands.

Areas of rain move slowly east over Britain on Tuesday night. Rain
extensive and fairly heavy in much of England apart from the north and SW.
Rain clears the east coast soon after midday on Wednesday but widespread
showers develop in the west and some move east in the afternoon. More
general outbreaks of rain in western Scotland and NW England. Heavy
showers with thunder move along the Channel in the evening.
