Yes, I thought about Braemar too. I looked at a house there

On the tables given on this page:
http://www.scotland.gov.uk/cru/kd01/.../ccsnow_05.htm
Braemar has the highest average number of days with snow lying, which
would be one way of approaching it, I suppose.
